Public Records Act Request – Medicaid Enrollment Data (Jan 2026 – Present)
To the NCDHHS Records Officer / Office of Communications:
Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law (N.C. Gen. Stat. § 132-1 et seq.), I am writing to request access to and electronic copies of public records maintained by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Records Requested: I am requesting aggregate statistical data regarding Medicaid enrollment in the State of North Carolina. Specifically, I am seeking monthly enrollment totals broken down by program type, county, or eligibility category if available, covering the period from January 1, 2026, through the date this request is processed.
Note: This request is strictly for aggregate, de-identified statistical data. I am not requesting any personally identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI) protected under state law or HIPAA.Format of Records: Pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 132-6.1, if these records exist in an electronic database or spreadsheet format (such as Excel or CSV), please provide them in their native electronic format via email or digital file transfer to avoid any printing costs.
