Subject: Oklahoma Open Records Act Request – Medicaid Enrollment Data (Jan 2026 – Present)
To the Records Access Officer / Office of Public Information:
Pursuant to the Oklahoma Open Records Act (51 O.S. § 24A.1 et seq.), I am writing to request access to and copies of public records maintained by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.
Records Requested: I am requesting aggregate statistical data regarding Medicaid (SoonerCare) enrollment in the State of Oklahoma. Specifically, I request monthly enrollment totals broken down by program type or eligibility category if available, covering the period from January 1, 2026, through the date this request is processed.
Note: I am solely seeking aggregate, de-identified statistical data. I am not requesting any personally identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI) protected under HIPAA.
Format of Records: If these records exist in an electronic format, such as a spreadsheet (Excel/CSV) or PDF, please provide them electronically via email or digital download to minimize reproduction costs.
Fee Waiver / Cost Limitations: If there are any fees associated with searching, reviewing, or duplicating these records, please notify me if the cost is expected to exceed $25 before proceeding with the request.
If all or any part of this request is denied, please cite the specific statutory exemption that justifies the withholding of the records.
